A sustainable future
The development aims to meet the Eco-Homes 'Very Good' standard
and its equivalent for commercial development. This is very
challenging and will exceed much of the development that has
occurred in the region. To meet this standard the development
will need to use sustainable and recycled construction materials
and incorporate water and energy efficient measures. Homes will
be provided with cycle storage and recycling bins and be designed
to maximise opportunities for people to work from home.
